Credentials & Recognition

Who Is Actually Teaching You

Everything below is checkable. We would rather show you the real record — including what has lapsed — than a wall of badges.

Certified instructor — National Association of Career Colleges

Manucher Nick holds NACC instructor certification, the standard credential for career-college instructors in Canada.

Member — Beauty Council of Western Canada

The regional industry body for professional beauty and aesthetic practitioners in Western Canada.

Health Canada Medical Device Establishment Licence (MDEL)

Held for the operation of Class II–IV medical aesthetic devices — the laser, IPL and RF platforms the curriculum is built around.

Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA)

Underpins the practice-launch and business modules included in every CCAD program.

Registered B.C. company — BC Medical Clinic Inc.

CCAD's operating company. The in-person institute, BC Medical Aesthetic, runs from 1214–2929 Barnet Hwy, Coquitlam, British Columbia.

Manucher has trained aesthetic practitioners in person since 2013. Graduates are working across British Columbia and beyond.

B.C. Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit — designated seal

Provincial designation — held 2023 to 2026, now lapsed

From May 2023 to May 2026 the founder’s institute held a designation under the B.C. Private Training Act, regulated by the B.C. Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit. That designation has since lapsed and CCAD does not currently claim it. The curriculum, clinical standards and instructor are unchanged.

A CCAD certificate of completion evidences the CCAD curriculum. It is not a licence, and it is not a substitute for any provincial or national registration required to perform a given procedure where you live — please confirm your local scope of practice before you enrol.

24/7 AI Instructor

A Tutor That Knows the Syllabus, Awake at 3am

Every program includes an AI instructortrained on the full CCAD curriculum and Manucher Nick’s clinical methodology. Ask detailed questions about procedures, techniques, protocols and business strategy, and get an answer instantly — at 3am, on a Sunday, mid-shift.

It is not a person, and we don’t pretend otherwise. Enrolment, exams, certificates and anything it can’t settle go to a real member of the CCAD team by email.

Why this matters:A single consultation with a specialist costs $200+ CAD. Your enrolled program comes with the AI instructor built in — no per-question fee, no waiting for office hours.

What fluence should I start with for IPL on Fitzpatrick III skin?

For Fitzpatrick III, start conservative — around 14–16 J/cm² with a longer pulse duration, then reassess after a test spot. Always patch-test 48 hours ahead and keep the skin cooled to protect the epidermis.

And how long between microneedling sessions for acne scarring?

Space sessions 4–6 weeks apart so collagen can remodel between treatments. Most protocols run 3–6 sessions; deeper acne scars benefit from RF microneedling at the higher end of that range.

FAQ

Common Questions

Is the online certification as valid as in-person?

Yes. CCAD certification is the same whether you complete the course online or in-person. The curriculum, exams, and certification standards are identical. Our online students receive the same CCAD credentials.

How is online training different from in-person?

Our online courses cover the same theory, techniques and protocols. The differences are that you study at your own pace from anywhere, your questions go to a 24/7 AI instructor rather than to Manucher in a classroom, and you practise on your own models rather than in his Coquitlam clinic. If you want hands-on instruction, the in-person institute is still there.

Can anyone take these courses?

Most courses are open to anyone interested in aesthetic dermatology. However, certain advanced sections of the Master Practitioner level are restricted to licensed medical professionals (physicians, nurses, dentists) as required by regulation.

Is the 24/7 instructor a real person or an AI?

It is an AI instructor — trained on the full CCAD curriculum and on Manucher Nick's clinical methodology — and it is available any hour for questions about procedures, techniques, protocols and business strategy. It is not a human tutor, and we don't present it as one. Enrolment, exams, certificates and anything clinical the AI can't settle are handled by a real member of the CCAD team over email.

Can I open my own clinic after graduating?

Absolutely. Many of Manucher's graduates now run their own aesthetic practices across Canada. CCAD courses cover not just clinical skills but business coaching, practice launch planning, and marketing strategies to help you succeed.

How do I pay for a program?

Each program is a one-time purchase with lifetime access. Pick a level that matches where you are in your career and pay once — no monthly fees.

Ready to Launch Your Career?

Learn aesthetic dermatology online with CCAD — the same education as in-person, delivered online, at a fraction of the cost.
